Cheryl Sooter Elected to NPTC Board of Directors

Atlanta, GA - April 27, 2010 - Custard Insurance Adjusters, Inc. is pleased to congratulate Cheryl Sooter on her recent election to the National Private Trucking Council Institute Board of Directors. Sooter serves as VP-Director of CIA's Transportation Sales and Marketing Division.

Sooter was previously named a Five Star Board menber of the Institute's Board of Governors in March of 2010, a position offered by invitation only. The Board of Governors is the educational, training and certification arm of the NPTC. Serving on the Board of Governors over the past year has allowed Sooter to be involved with scholarship programs, certification classes, sponsorship planning and voting on future events.

"It is quite an honor for Cheryl to represent CIA on the NPTC’s Board of Directors," stated President, Rick Linville. Linville further added, “We are very proud of Cheryl's accomplishments in the transportation industry, and look forward to her continued contributions and success.”

Sooter began her career with Custard in June of 2001, and has risen through the ranks serving in several key positions in transportation sales and marketing before being promoted to her current position in February of 2008.

Sooter's industry experience includes many years in high level positions with a variety of claims service companies, including Crawford & Company, Lindsey Newsome, and Cunningham Lindsey.   She has extensive operations/claims management experience as well as experience handling transportation liability, cargo, quality auditing, and SIU projects.  Sooter holds a Casualty GA designation and is a member of various claim organizations, past officer of the East Texas Claims Association and has served on numerous claims counsels.
