Custard Insurance Adjusters Responds to the Devastation Left by Hurricane Ike

Atlanta, GA - September 15, 2008 - In the early morning hours of September 14th, Custard Insurance Adjusters began its deployment of certified catastrophe adjusters to the Houston area in preparation for its response to the devastation left by Hurricane Ike. Due to the enormous size of this Category 2 hurricane, the amount of damage the storm generated as it made landfall in Texas was massive. As the hurricane then proceeded north and east through the midwest and all the way to the Ohio River Valley, Custard's many offices throughout the country's midsection prepared for response to the flooding and significant damage left in the storm's wake.

According to Patrick Milone, Vice President - Property Specialty Division, “Coupled with reinforcement by our branch offices, preparation is being made to insure that the needs of our customers and their policy holders will be met with additional catastrophe adjusters being deployed to all areas across the country that have been affected by the storm. We will be continuously rotating and supplementing adjusters in the course of the next several weeks.”

Custard is prepared to handle catastrophe losses of all types and complexities, with Executive General Adjusters available to direct the larger more complex losses as needed.
