CAT Division Continues Catastrophe Training
Atlanta, GA - May 1, 2006 - The Custard Insurance Adjusters CAT Division announced today it will hold it’s second Catastrophe Training Seminar on May 9-10, 2006 in Arlington, TX. Attendance at the CAT seminar is free to attendees who wish to be added to Custard’s list of adjusters eligible to work CAT claims during the 2006 season. CIA also plans to hold additional training sessions at various locations prior to June 1st, the beginning of hurricane season.
"Prior to our first training seminar we revised our entire CAT Manual, and it proved to be highly informative to the attendees", stated Dave String, Custard's Director of Catastrophe Services.
Similar to the first seminar, the second training session (and subsequent sessions) will be conducted by David String and Donny Reed of Custard’s CAT Division and will include such topics as Wind vs. Flood Damage, Commercial Roofs and their Applications, Standardized Reporting Requirements, and specific CIA customer requirements for a variety of Custard’s primary customers.
Also present will be representatives from Marshall & Swift/Boeckh (MSB) who will instruct and assist adjusters in their knowledge and use of IntegriClaim™, a property estimating software program to be exclusively used for CAT claims.
